The body of a homeless man is discovered under a railway bridge of Limehouse Cut canal in the Tower Hamlets district of London. This is the latest in a series of attacks on the homeless, but the first to result in the death of the victim. Attending the scene is Senior Investigating Officer DCI Helene MacKay.
Over a period of five months, five more bodies are found, all killed in a different manner, but unlike the first, each has a ligature mark around the neck and characters carved into their skin. A member of Mackay’s team recognises the numbers as Bible passages, and it becomes apparent the killer is using the quotations to signify a reason the victim’s death. DNA analysis identifies one of the victims as being a serial rapist sought by the team.
All five victims have something in common; currently engaged in criminal activity or promoting hatred of others. The ligature marks and bible passages suggest one person is responsible; a serial killer. MacKay’s job is to catch that killer but a part of her hopes she will fail.

Author Bio:
Glen R. Stansfield is a qualified aircraft engineer, a profession he has pursued for over forty years.
A lifelong interest in crime, in particular forensic psychology, led him to write his debut novel, Fishing for Stones.
Glen released his second novel, Harry, in August 2016. Harry is a tense thriller set in Kuwait and London.
He also writes a weekly cookery column, for the Weekender magazine and is a contributor to Bahrain Confidential.
When not writing, he can sometimes be found on two wheels, often using his motorcycle to raise money for charity.
His work has taken him to Bahrain, where he lives with his wife, Jess.
